Happy March! As I said yesterday, I have Spring fever something awful. And now that it is officially March, I don’t care what the temp is. Bring on the warm(er) weather clothes! Since I can not stop thinking about the Nine West Flats from the Love List yesterday, I decided to use them as my inspiration for the perfect Spring outfit.
Yes, I am extremely late in my loves for this month. It’s been a bit hectic! However, it IS still February for a few more hours, so here is what I have been obsessing over this month. The weather might still be chilly, but it’s pretty much the last month of winter, so it’s really hard to not jump ahead to Spring time colors and patterns. Which, in my book, means bright, happy colors like yellows and hot pinks. I’m completely obsessed with hot pink lipstick right now! And also, floral. But not just any floral! Loud, bold floral prints.
You can never have too many shoes. My husband may disagree with me on that, but it seems every time I find the perfect pair I’ve been neeeeding, another pair comes along and reminds me that I need them too.
One such shoe I’ve been on the hunt for is a pointy toe flat. But it had to be the perfect pointy toe with no extra embellishments on the shoe. So you can imagine how excited I was when I was browsing the new Prabal Gurung collection for Target and found these beautiful yellow flats. The color has be itching for Spring. I’m so ready to wear bright colors and floral everything again! These also come in black and a bright striped print AND they’re extremely inexpensive. Don’t wake me if I’m dreaming!
I stumbled across these black and white heels this weekend while I was out shopping at Kohls, and with the black and white combo being so in right now (not to mention, their pointy toe, which as if it hasn’t become clear by now, I’m totally obsessed with at the moment) they are truly too perfect to pass up.
And finally, I was on Threadsense today looking through their Back In Stock section, and I was so excited to see these ankle boots were back. I was kicking myself for not buying them the first time I saw them. That light brown color is perfection.
And on to the grand finale! My perfect holiday outfit! Not to say I wouldn’t pick any of the other shoes, jewels, purses and dresses I’ve posted about this week. Let’s be honest, if I had it my way, I’d own every single item…and then some.
This has been a ton of fun for me to pick my party favorites and I hope you’ve enjoyed it too! Here’s wishing every single one of you a very Merry Christmas, a very Happy New Year, and all the luck and happiness in the world for your 2013!
Day 4 in my Holiday series is here and we’ve finally arrived at the most important part when picking a party outfit: the dress. Whether you’re looking for something a little more casual(but still festive), classic, or bold and sparkly – I’ve got you covered!
Happy Purseday! Day 3 in my Holiday Party Attire series focuses on the bag you will ultimately need to hold your lip gloss, credit card, and iPhone when you’re out celebrating. I need them all!
Day 2 of my Holiday Attire series! And this one is all about the bling. This entire set of jewelry is exclusively from the fabulous Chloe + Isabel line. My beautiful cousin (really more like sister) is a merchandiser for them, and I instantly fell in love with everything as soon as she showed me the website. It was extremely hard to just pick a few pieces. Any of these beauties would compliment your party outfit perfectly.
If you decide to purchase any of these items, make sure you include Seana Ruppert at checkout as the merchandiser, and also be sure to follow her on Twitter to make sure you don’t miss out on any sales they might have going on.
Happy December! Admist the shopping, and wrapping, and cooking, and driving over this holiday season, don’t forget about the parties you ultimately need to be decked to the nines for! There’s never a better time to sparkle and shine than Christmas and New Year’s! So I’m doing a whole week of the perfect pieces to add to your outfit. Starting with shoes. It is Shoesday Tuesday, afterall!
Cold has finally made it’s way to Texas! I can’t say I really like cold weather, but it does get me more in the spirit for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and all things cozy! Also, the decorating bug has officially bitten me. We moved in to a new house, and I’ve been spending a lot more time on home decor sites and pinning a little too much pretty decor on my Pinterest. It has me majorly inspired, and since Modern Rustic decor is my favorite, I figured it’d be fun to put together some items in that theme. My definition of Modern Rustic is mixing decor that’s more current with nature inspired pieces. And because of the cold weather moving in, I wanted to add a winter-y vibe to it too. Especially since I’m kind of obsessed with deer, reindeer, antlers, etc. However, the great thing about this set is you can remove the reindeer pillow and add some darker colored pillows and accents, and have it fit a more year round theme. I’m having a reeeeally hard time resisting the urge to buy every single item on this list!
