Shoesday Tuesday: Mixed Neutrals

One / Two / Three / Four / Five / Six

I looove to mix neutrals. Especially in the Fall (and it’s sooo close!). Give me a gray sweater, black tights, and brown boots any day. So why wouldn’t I love mixing the color palette on shoes?? And bags too for that matter…but it’s Shoesday. Focus… :)

PS. Number 2 is majorly reduced in price (there’s a coupon code on the page to reduce them more, but only through the end of today). So snatch those up quick! And number 4 & 5 need WILL be mine asap. Sooo in love!

I’m baaack! It’s been a while since I’ve blogged due to vacation, moving, birthdays(including mine yay!), etc…it’s been a bit busy to say the least. But I’m back, and more fashion obsessed than ever.

So this week during my daily online browsing, I’ve been lusting over lulus.com items more than ever before. There’s always a few items I want badly from their store, but this week in particular, there’s just a bazillion pieces that I’m finding it hard to live without. At the moment, I’m all about little white dresses, bright colors, and neutral/neon combos, so these are my 8 reasons you should visit their store today. Happy shopping!

Shoesday Tuesday: The Cap Toe

Capped toe shoes may possibly be my favorite trend of the moment. I love contrast in color and texture on pretty much anything, but especially on a pair of shoes. Bright colors, neutrals, metals, studs, sequins. So many possibilities.

1. Ann Taylor Flat  2. Vince Camuto Pump  3. ModCloth Wedge

4. Top Shop Pump  5. All Black Sequin Flats

6. Top Shop Flat  7. Pedder Red Slip On

And what’s got me all kinds of excited is while hunting for the perfect pairs for my post, I discovered several DIY’s for this type of shoe. Now, I am definitely not someone you would call crafty, but all of these tutorials seem easy enough. Plus, who doesn’t want to save a few bucks and still have cute shoes? I can’t wait to try it out. I already have a ton of different color/texture combos swirling in my mind to create. I’ll make sure to post any that I attempt!

Here’s the links to the tutorials to check out. There’s one using acrylic paint, one using nail polish (yes, nail polish. LOVE!), and one I’m extremely smitten over: glitter capped toes. That will be the first one I try. Glitter anything is alright by me.

Sunday Brunch

One of my very favorite things to do on the weekend is have brunch with friends. Nothing better than good conversation, eating breakfast for lunch, and drinking a mimosa (or seven). Whether it’s a casual or dressy event, these are my ideal picks for a warm weather brunch day.

Casual:

Tillys Tank, Forever 21 Crossbody Bag, Topshop Shorts, Wanted Flats, Modcloth Earrings, & Forever 21 Bangles

Dressy:

AE Lace Tank, DSW Quilted Satchel, Jessica Simpson Wedges, Romwe Skirt, Etsy Watch, Forever 21 Earrings

Enjoy your weekend!

Wishlist Wednesday: Zig Zags

I am completely obsessed with zig zags right now. On everything. This was a really hard list to put together because I kinda wanted every single thing I found. I’ve seen tons of pieces the past couple months that I’ve wanted, but when I actually searched for it online, my mind got a little overloaded with all the zig zag greatness. Especially on Etsy. Be prepared, if you go there and search “zig zag” or “chevron”, your going to want to buy all that you see! You’ve been warned.

Black and white is definitely my fav, and it looks oh so good popped with a bright color (the Lulu’s dress, #5, is a perfect example). But the chevron pattern is equally as fab in gray and white, pink and white, multicolored….I could go on and on. Soooo pretty! And you know I had to throw in a couple pairs of wedges as well since I’m crushing hard on those at the moment too.

Gimme all of these.

1. Ivanka Trump Wedge  2. Charlotte Russe Earrings  3. Etsy iPhone Case

4. Etsy Bag  5. Lulu’s Dress  6. Tobi Flats  7. Anthropologie Wedge  8. Tobi Shorts

Shoesday Tuesday: Wedges

It’s crazy. I’ve never in my life been drawn to wedges. Whenever I see them, I usually don’t give them a second glance. However, after I discovered the Michael Kors nude wedges for last week’s Shoesday post, I all of the sudden became super drawn to them. I started seeking them out, and even bought a pair last Friday. So I had to do a Shoesday post on some of favorite pairs I’ve seen in the past few days.

Plus, they’re ususally more comfortable to walk in than a pair of heels, so you can have the height without the hurt. Bonus!

I’m seriously dying over those Dolce Vita’s(#1).

1. Dolce Vita  2. Michael Antonio  3. Fergalicious

4. Yoki Donya  5. Tobi  6. Not Rated

Shoesday Tuesday: Nude

Every girl should have a pair of  nude heels in their closet. They’re as essential as a pair of jeans or a LBD. They go with everything. Not to mention, they make your legs look seven miles long. Nude color in any type of shoe is fab, really. It’s a neutral that will make any color or print combo you have on, look pulled together and polished.

I already have a pointy toe and round toe heeled pair, but these wedges, flats, and sandals need to make their way to me asap.
